It's the most wonderful time of the year.

In 5 days exactly I will be a college graduate. Where has the time gone? I think today in church was the first time that it really hit me. I kept doing the...this is my last time at a college ward, last time I will sit with my roomates at church, etc. (it can go on) WEIRD! I have wanted this for so long and now each day I just want to hold on to every memory and as the days draw closer the faster it goes. YIKES!

On a more upbeat note.

Melissa came this weekend. it was magical and I really missed that girl.

David Archuleta...what? YES!

So on Friday Katie and I went to the David Archuleta concert and I am not going to lie...it was so fun! He is just a little guy...a little awkward but boy has got a GREAT voice! It was so fun to share that concert with Katie! I was really hoping she could meet him and sparks would fly between them...but sadly he was just too popular to grace us with his presents one on one. NONETHELESS...I loved every minute of it!
Benton Paul opened up for him...he did a super job if you ask me. I'm a fan!

Okay I don't support Chris and his past choices he has made with the ladies BUT I am sorry he is a beautiful man and boy can dance!

Today I am especially grateful for...

my family! BUT I am especially grateful for my little nephew Christian and the new baby on the way! This Thanksgiving my family decided to go down to Matt and Camille's house in southern California! The weather is incredible, the family is great and Christian couldn't be any cuter! Happy Thanksgiving!

Confession...

Okay...so i'm in love. i'm in love. and i don't care who knows it! Its true I will add myself to one of those screaming fans who loved New Moon. I think they did an excellent job on this movie...such a step up from Twilight. Okay and lets be honest with Robert Pattinson yummy face and Taylor Lautner's perfect body who wouldn't love the movie!!!!

and ps...i was always a Jacob fan while reading the books.

Today I am grateful for...friends!

On Saturday the roomates decided to take roomate pictures. Luckily we got some good pictures out of it because it was MISERABLE! It was so cold...snowing but everyone was a champ and stuck it out. It was fun to have some bonding time with everyone! I have been really lucky to have an awesome group of roomates this semester. All so VERY different but just the cutest things ever! I am lucky to leave rexburg with a bang.

I am so grateful for....DAVID

SO while I have been at school this semester my little brother David and I have been emailing back and forth. OR more like I have been emailing him millions of questions and he responds in one sentence-which isn't even a clear or correct sentence. But nontheless I love it and look forward to it. This week I wrote him asking about halloween and told him I got his Christmas present and was just real excited to spend Thanksgiving with him. This is the response I got:

So Halloween was a BLAST! Katie decided to throw a Witches party (girls only) which was a HUGE success! Everyone got totally into it and went beyond the typical witch! Lots of yummy food, games, and dancing! It was a huge hit!

Also Melissa FINALLY finished her internship...which I am so happy to have her back in the same state as me!! It was fun to see and catch up with her on Halloween!

OKAY so 2 weeks from today I will be heading my way home to California for Thanksgiving break! Holy COW! Where has the time gone? There is a lot to be done in between those 2 weeks but I am so excited!!! THEN...3 weeks until GRADUATION!!!! ENOUGH SAID!

Jordan...thats my brotha!

So best weekend ever. Jordan came and visited my little college town for the weekend! We had a blast and took lots and lots of pictures (thanks to Katie). We carved pumpkins, saw 2 movies, took lots of pictures, went to porters, made a special trip to the coco bean and ate lots and lots of yummy food. I would say it was a successful week!

Farewell

Yet another roomate of mine has decided to get hitched! We already miss our dear Karlee but she was a beautiful bride and the wedding was a blast! Here is a photo update.

i hate you. did you forget what month we are currently in? It's not December 24th it's actually just October 5th. Jumping into the fall!!

Fall has arrived!!!! It finally began to cool down which then brings lovely sweater weather WHICH is my favorite season of all! Not too much has happened since school has started but here is a picture update of some of my new cute roomates! My life is a party, I can't complain!

back to school. back to school to prove to daddy...

HOLY COW. This semester might most possibly be the death of me. Classes started on Thursday and after my first class i already felt super overwhelmed. BUT there is something about an intimidating classes that can either motivate me or do the complete opposite... discourage me and in the end I tend to give up. I am hoping that it will be the first one. I am an idiot and decided to take 3 upper level psychology classes. yippee. BUT on the upside I signed up for this class which is for those who are potentially looking to become a counselor after getting their Bachellors. Kind of a a little blessing in disguise. My professor mentioned that this class would be equivalent to a beginning course in grad school. I have actually been thinking a lot about going on and getting more schooling to become a counselor. So I guess this will help determine if that is indeed something I want to.

So although I think this might be the hardest semester of my life I think that it will be the most rewarding. But I guess school isn't always about fun... studying should be a huge part. Welcome to college Rachel-5 years to late!

I think I like the "idea" of a blog more than actually keeping my own up to date. I was just browsing through some of my friends and I can't help but feel a little insecure about my own little blog. Everyone is just so dang wity and profound. While I like to devote mine to picture I am going to turn a new leaf and try to actually give this "blogging" stuff a try. So here goes...

Monday I head back to college for my very last semester...well at Idaho at least. While for YEARS I have been counting down the units until I could finally leave what I thought was an empty and lonely state. Why is that I always find myself looking to the future rather than trying to enjoy where I am at? All I can say is that it gets old and I have been trying my hardest to love myself and what I am doing here and now. BUT I am not going to lie I have been anticipating this semester for a long time and now I have butterflies going crazy in my stomach. I am just so excited and yet so scared. What the heck am I going to do after I graduate? Where will I go? What do I actually want to do? Is maybe a masters in the picture? So many exciting options to keep open. I keep begging everyone around me to figure it out for me but truth is I actually get to be a grown up and pick my own path. YIKES. How exciting!!!!!!!! So hopefully I will keep you updated on this next few months on my journey through life!!!

so my summer semester at Idaho came to an end real quick...to quick if you ask me. I confess my mind checked out of school a week and a half before it actually ended. Translation, I played for the last week and a half. It all started with the derby went on to a pirate party, trips to the river, lots of tanning, eating, photo shoots, late night movies, eating, lots of new music, giggling, eating, making new friends, pictures pictures pictures, and lets through in some more hours of eating. To sum it up I ended the semester with a BANG! I had WAY to much fun and am super excited for my last semester although I have to admit I enjoy how that rolls right off my finger tips and onto the page...one more semester! YIKES!

demolition what? my real idaho experience.

okay so for a while I have been whining to everyone that I want to have a REAL Idaho experience...well today was my LUCKY day- I went to my first DEMOLITION DERBY! For those who might not know...it pretty much consists of some sweet junked up cars raming into each other. Oh HEAVENS! It was fascinating! BUT in order to get the full experience a group of friends and I decided to dress up as true white trash ladies- it was fabulous. Our hair was HUGE, our make-up was extreme and I absolutely loved every minute of it! Not only were we the crowd pleaser (might be a little bit of an exaggeration) I just know that our picture will some how become a part of everyones life. People were snapping pictures left and right. So just in case you were real curious about what we looked like I decided to include some glamour shots of the night!
